Job Summary

The Project Tetris/Oryx Business Functional Lead acts as the key business leader and property transition champion for the system changes being introduced into the properties under Project Tetris/Oryx for the Middle-East and Africa hotels.  Continuously improves department, program, team, and job structures and ensures clear leadership accountabilities are in place. Works with project team members, Accenture employees and Continent / HQ individuals and peers to develop and implement strategies and goals.  Makes and executes the necessary decisions to keep team moving forward toward achievement of goals and provides direction and assistance to stakeholders regarding project updates. Works closely with the Finance Projects Lead and 1 other Business Functional Lead to ensure there is synergy and consistency in all actions/communications & outcomes across the property portfolio to achieve the set project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
Reviews Project Tetris/Oryx deliverables and provides feedback as appropriate
Engages with senior client to articulate the need and value of change/ transformation in appropriate forums and with leadership
Provides execution/implementation planning expertise
Works with external third parties, Accenture employees, hotel owners, hotel Directors of Finance and other hotel leadership individuals as well as Continent / HQ stakeholders to ensure Project Tetris / Oryx objectives are implemented in a timely fashion as required by the Project Lead
Ensures OCM strategies and plans are relevant and are executed to ensure successful people transformation
Proactively identifies issues and risks and highlight to the sponsor/ program managers
Works with the Accenture Project Lead, technical teams and OCM Lead to develop and maintain a strong understanding of the project scope and key change impacts to identify stakeholders impacted by the transformation, and their potential concerns, issues / perceptions
Ensures the delivery and roll-out of training/capability building in the organization to ensure that people have the necessary skills/ competencies to perform their job
