This requisition is for an international, locally hired, electrical and avionics design and analysis engineer position in support of the USAF C-17 Automated Test Equipment (CATE) and in support of Qatar Emiri Air Force Field Operations at Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar.

Successful applicant will participate in resolving complex CATE operations and in assisting USAF in testing and repairing Line Replaceable Units (LRU) and Shop Replaceable Units (SRU), and in sustaining CATE test stations.
Applicant will also assist QEAF customer with aircraft maintenance issues & repair guidance, engineering dispositions.
A strong background in avionics and electrical systems of the C-17 aircraft is essential.
The applicant must also be familiar with aircraft systems.
Prior C-17 field experience in troubleshooting complex integrated systems, within an operational environment utilizing.
Technical Orders, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, system schematics, & historical repair data is highly desirable.
Benefits and pay will be determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S.- based payroll, and will be commensurate with experience and qualifications and in accordance with applicable Qatari Law. The employment is
subject to the candidates' ability to satisfy all Qatar labor and immigration formalities and to be able to obtain US DoD Security Clearance.
This position requires the ability to work independently under time constraints and stress, in a demanding, on-call, around the clock operational environment. Travel to other operating locations to assist with operation, maintenance, and recovery of aircraft may be required. A highly energetic, skilled professional is required to fill this position supporting USAF and Qatar Emiri Air Force C-17
programs.

Qualifications
Engineering Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience.
