The InterContinental Abu Dhabi is an IHG flag ship property in Abu Dhabi and is a prominent landmark on the Corniche, located in a commanding beachfront setting. It features 390 guest rooms and suites, has highly acclaimed food and beverage outlets and elegant meeting rooms and banquet facilities.

We are currently seeking to hire a dynamic Restaurant Manager to join our Food & Beverage Service Team.

Under the direction of the Food and Beverage Director or delegate, and within the limits of established InterContinental Hotels Group Policies and Procedures, assists in overseeing and directing all aspects of the Food and Beverage operation.

Other responsibilities include:
Under the assistance of the senior F&B Manager co-ordinate the preparation of the Outlet annual budget and work to achieve the budget by monitoring and  controlling the outlets operations, considering revenue and expenditure.
On an ongoing basis, control and analysis departmental costs to ensure performance against budget; implementing corrective measures where necessary to produce positive business results.
Effectively manage staffing costs by preparing efficient work schedules in line with legal requirements.
Demonstrate understanding and awareness of all company policies and procedures relating to Health, Hygiene and Fire Life Safety and ensure your direct reports do the same.
Ensure all security incidents, accidents and near misses are logged investigated and rectified to prevent future catastrophes.
Coach, counsel and discipline staff, providing constructive feedback to enhance performance.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a minimum 3 years experience in a similar role within hospitality industry. Furthermore a person with detailed knowledge on food & beverage within a quality luxury brand as well as knowledge in wines and beverages. Also be well versed in administration and financial aspects with strong attention to details and have good knowledge of Micros Point of Sale System. It is also an advantage if having experience with managing and training a multi-cultural workforce. Should be customer oriented, a team player and able to communicate in English fluently.
