We are currently seeking to hire a dynamic Bar Attendant to join InterContinental Abu Dhabi.
As a Bar Attendant you are responsible to provide professional service to our guests, ensuring their restaurant visit will become a memorable dining experience whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as:
Perform all necessary tasks to service food & beverage according to the brand standard of performance of the hotel
Greet customers and serve them in a professional and personalized way
Acquire in depth knowledge of the food & beverage menu of the assigned outlet in order to assist and provide advice to guests
Practice good customer relations and attend to customer complaints / queries satisfactorily
Responsible for maintaining hygiene and cleanliness standards in the outlet and upkeep of all service equipment
Actively use up selling techniques to exceed guest expectations and increase revenue
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a minimum 2 years experience in a similar role in a 5 stars hotel. Furthermore a person with detailed knowledge on food & beverage within a quality luxury brand as well as knowledge in wines and beverages. Should be customer oriented, a team player and able to communicate in English fluently.
